The verdict:  I originally hated the scent, but it's growing on me. It's a stale herb kind of smell, like old old paper. It also feels like water- no tingling, no freshness, but also no stinging or stickiness. My favorite part (10 stars if I could) is that it is a SPRAY toner so easy to use, AND cruelty free and natural. For using serums that require a bee or hydration, one needs a toner, and it does not need to work miracles. I don't expect it to. Unfortunately, this one claims to and thus had to have stars deducted. My skin has not changed, but I do need a toner that is natural and cruelty free and i prefer (now that i have been spoiled by this) a spray. I will not run out for a while, and if i could not find a spray toner that was natural and cruelty free, i would buy this again.
Buy again? Yes.

I received this product at no cost to myself plus shipping in exchange for an honest review.
The package was very basic and impressively so. Tall spray bottle in a shiny box.
Spray bottle?? This is exciting. My main reasons in the past for not using toner have been needing cotton balls or pads and that burning tingle that signifies chemicals. This has that spray bottle and you can spray with no worries; it feels just like water.
It's technically a glycol acid - with no alcohols, no parabens. It has ocean minerals and witch hazel. I suspect the witch hazel may contribute to that stale paper scent. But that grows on me at least...
I used this every day, twice a day with a serum, for 4+ weeks now and I did not notice any improvements to my skin. The natural serum i used with it made it softer for an hour. If this did not make such claims to change skin in just 7 days- or at all- i would give it a better score. I wish it would just claim to be an every day average toner!
 I would LOVE to try their eye gel or hyaluronic acid.
